Config 2026

A conference recap, built as a website
A 10-minute tour of what Figma shipped at Config 2026, and why it matters for how we design. I made it for my teammates at frog as my first fully vibe-coded website: a slide presentation, reimagined as an interactive site you scroll through.

The goal
I wanted to share the highlights of Config with my frog teammates, and I gave myself a challenge: do it as my first fully vibe-coded website instead of a deck. Still a presentation, but more interactive, modern and interesting to go through.
Approach
I built it in a weekend, my first time using Claude Code. Figma and Config have a well-established brand, so I started from assets and a set of starting slides in Figma to give Claude the brand and the format. The skill wasn’t in getting something done, but in recognizing when an idea was pointing in the right direction.
Outcome
The format caught on: several teammates have reused it for their own shareouts, and vibe-coded sites have become a common way to share work on the team. It confirmed that AI doesn’t replace design thinking, it rewards it: the tools move fast but have no taste, so every prompt is a brief.
